Anyway, last night I had a girl’s night out with my best friend and her younger sister. It was actually the first time we had seen each other since everything went down three weeks ago. We’ve always loved and cared for each other like sisters but this time we really appreciated each other more than usual. These gals have been there with me since I was 12 years old. We have been through thick and thin together. Even though it’s a good thing, it’s sad that it takes such a horrible tragedy like this to appreciate one another. I’ve never, other than Otto, have even connected so well with two people before. We all have pretty much the same morals and values. It really feels good to be a part of a family like that.
