ARGH!!! and my cat Doo Doo

Filed under: Uncategorized — Mally @ 7:15 am

I’ve been a bit stressed out. After spending about 500+ dollars on ads for the apartment downstairs (400+ of that money coming from my own pocket!) we finally got someone who wanted it! Not only did the family tell us they wanted the place, they agreed to come meet me to give their first month’s deposit. In fact, my sister confirmed with the wife that it was a sure deal. They never showed. Never called. We actually refused another family that wanted the apartment desperately in order to give it to these people. I skipped class to meet with them too. ARGH!!! After calling several times with no answer, I finally get in contact with the husband - 4 hours later of when they were suppose to meet me. They had a myriad of excuses -one of them being “Oh, my wife didn’t call you?”. No, dipshit, obviously not! I can’t believe that people could do things like this. Much of my life seems to be having to prove I’m a human being to everyone. I mean, having to prove that I’m more than just a “cam girl” was completely my choice. I felt I needed to break the stereotype of cam girls and make people realize that there’s more to that text and that cam pic on the computer screen. (Muahahahaha and my little evil plan has worked! I’ve made some pretty nice email buddies!) But having to prove myself to people I actually meet in person seems wrong. You see me, you see I move, think, talk, and breathe - one would make the obvious assumption that I also have similar emotions and routine as you. But no, even in “real life” people view each other as some “thing” and not as some “one”. It’s like, “Oh, I don’t care if I’m rude to this customer -I’m having a bad day anyway” or “I’ll make an appointment with them but I won’t show up. I mean I won’t see them ever again anyway so who cares.” I don’t see it therefore it doesn’t exist.

Doo DooOn a lighter note, my cat Doo Doo must’ve been a dog in his previous life. I made a cat toy box a couple of months ago after seeing the dog version at Otto’s mom’s house. It’s just basically a rectangular shaped Tupperware filled with the cats’ favorite toys. I used to just take two or three out at a time and rotate them so they don’t get bored. Doo Doo usually finds one of them lying around the house, picks it up in his mouth, and mooooos with it while it’s still in his mouth when it’s time for the household to go to sleep. I’m still not exactly sure why he does this, though we know he thinks he’s giving us a “present” (mouse) but he does it consistently every day. Sometimes it continues into the night even after we’re already in bed and sound asleep, which gets pretty annoying after a while. Anyway I decided (being the experimenting kind of person), that I would put all his toys in one box to see which were his favorites and to see if he would learn to pull the toys out of the box himself (I already figured my other cats wouldn’t do it). He actually did start doing it and he tends to pick certain toys out first even when I started mixing the placements of the toys in the box. Now I just gotta figure out how to get him to put his toys away…..

ToyBoxThese are the toys he left in the exact place the past two nights!

I need a hobby don’t I?
